A CIRCULAR DESIGN STUDIO creates high-quality sustainable products for the ethically and aesthetically conscious consumer. Through upcycling, we create beautiful, durable products from recycled plastic. Countertops & Board Material
One of our regular products is tabletops and sheet material made from 100% recycled plastic.

All our sheets are unique, handmade and only produced to order. This is partly from a sustainability perspective, so that we avoid overproduction, but also so that our customers can have a unique product made exactly to their wishes.
The sheets are cast in the desired colors and thicknesses and after casting they are cut to size, sanded and polished, which means that our products have the absolute best surface and expression on the market - you won't get better quality!
All our colors are divided so that we can create a color mixture exactly according to your wishes and we can cast the sheets in thicknesses from 3mm - 120mm.
They can be purchased as sheets, which you can process and cut yourself, but we can also create a finished solution, with cutouts, milling, screw holes, installation and assembly.

The largest single slab we can cast measures 116x76cm and can be in thicknesses from 3mm - 120mm.

We cannot cast larger individual slabs, but this does not necessarily have to be a limitation, as there are plenty of opportunities to make beautiful assemblies if you want a larger slab.
We have worked a lot with the material over the last 5 years and we have developed many different solutions. We can make traditional joinery solutions, such as tenon or dowel joints, it can be heat-bent or screwed together, but we can also weld the sheets together, so you get a completely seamless sheet, without transitions, if desired.

Colors & Color Combinations
We sort all our plastic into colors and types so that we can create the exact color combination you want for your project. We always have 50-60 different colors and shades in stock and they can be combined in thousands of ways, so there are a huge number of possibilities.
Above you can see a small selection of color combinations we have previously made, but since we are constantly using colors, there may be some that are not available, just as new colors may have been added, so if you have specific colors in mind, you are always welcome to contact us to see what we have in stock. However, we always have the basic colors white, red, blue and green in stock.
NOTE: It is important not to add new chemistry to the plastic, so that the material is as pure as possible and can thus be included in a circular cycle. We therefore do not color the plastic, and therefore cannot make colors based on a RAL code or similar.
Furniture & Options
In addition to tabletops, we also make furniture to order.
We take traditional craftsmanship, combined with digital production and a new material, 100% recycled plastic. We design and build furniture like a carpenter would, only from recycled plastic, rather than wood.
Plastic is a fantastic material and the possibilities are enormous, in fact even more so than with wood. In many areas, plastic is both stronger and more resistant to wind, weather and water.
The quality of traditional craftsmanship, combined with the very special expression of our material, allows us to create completely unique products, completely according to your wishes.
We have a few fixed furniture designs, but apart from them, all furniture is designed and produced to order, in close collaboration with the customer, to ensure you get the best possible result.

Puddle Coffee Table
One of our own furniture designs is our `Puddle´ table.
The coffee table is designed based on a desire to create a larger coffee table that behaves more like a natural monolith - than just a table.
It is a statement, both in materials and expression, that can contribute to creating a unique home, as it moves in the span between sculpture and design.
The table is assembled without screws, glue, etc. and therefore consists of 100% recycled plastic that can be granulated and recycled after use.
`Puddle' is always produced according to your color preferences, you are invited to help mix the colors yourself and therefore all tables will be unique.

INTERIOR
A permanent part of our range is our selection of interior products, our Off-Cut collection. The products are produced based on a basic idea of taking responsibility and minimizing our own waste and offcuts, so they are specifically designed so that we can utilize the smaller pieces of sheet metal we have left over, in the production of tabletops, furniture and the like.
The collection is currently a selection of trays, in different shapes and sizes, handles, hooks, shelf brackets, sign holders and mirrors.
The collection is constantly expanding, as as we design new furniture, we also develop new products we can use our offcuts for, so we are constantly focused on minimizing our waste.
For larger orders, all products can be customized and ordered in a color combination, size and with engraving/logo/text according to your wishes.

HANDLES AND HANGES
We have a lot of leftovers in our production, so before we expand the production, we have spent time figuring out how we can utilize the pieces.
It has become these 2 small, super fine hooks and handles in 100% recycled plastic.
The products are simple in their design and it is the material and the colors that are in focus.
They fit well, both for a simple coat rack, as shown here, but also as a handle for your kitchen or chest of drawers, if you need to freshen it up a little.
They cost NOK 50 each and you can order them on the webshop.
Mirrors
We created mirrors using 100% recycled plastic and recycled mirrors collected from a local recycling plant.
Working closely with the local municipality Ballerup, we designed a test system for collecting wasted mirrors and from local citizens.
The mirrors were then carefylly sorted, cleaned and cut to size, to fit into a production line.
Framed in 100% recycled plastic, collected from a local factory, our mirrors are made to dissamble and fits perfectly in a local circular system.
